Psychologist

Amber Blaese

With over 8 years of professional experience, I help individuals, couples and families navigate change, heal from distress, and grow into more connected, balanced lives. My approach blends empathy with evidence-based practice so you feel supported, seen and empowered.

Each person has an innate capacity for growth and change.

Sometimes that capacity becomes hidden behind anxiety, fatigue or emotional pain — my role is to gently help you rediscover it. I work with compassion, respect and without judgment: I listen, I encourage you to be honest about what hurts, and we step together toward calm and inner stability.

I don’t rely on “quick fixes” or generic advice — instead I create a warm, respectful dialogue and collaborate with you on meaningful change. We build a safe space where you can express yourself in your own language, learn caring boundaries, and develop deeper honesty with yourself and others. Together we turn experiences into insights, emotions into wisdom, and build stable, healthy relationships — with yourself and those around you.

My work is grounded in evidence-based methods:

Let’s Get in Touch

How long will each session last?

Each therapy session typically lasts 50 minutes. However, the duration of therapy overall can vary based on your goals, and we can adjust the session lengths as needed.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions depends on your goals and the challenges you want to work on. Some people notice improvement after just a few sessions, while others benefit from longer-term support. We will regularly review your progress and decide together what’s best for you.

What should I do if I feel uncomfortable during a session?

It’s normal to feel uneasy sometimes, especially when discussing sensitive topics. If you feel uncomfortable, please let me know — we can pause, adjust the pace, or talk about what’s bothering you. Therapy is a safe space, and your comfort is very important.

How do I prepare for a therapy session?

You don’t need to prepare anything special. It can help to think about what’s on your mind, any goals you want to work on, or questions you’d like to ask. You can even jot down your thoughts beforehand, but most importantly, come as you are — therapy is a judgment-free space.
